I see the world has folded in your heart, I feel the waves crash down inside
Somebody save me, let your warm hands break right through
My birthday this year has been an eventful one, which was rather surprising. It wasn’t like anything I expected, probably also because Coke spoiled the surprise by including me inside the text she mass sent to everyone. I was trying to decide between laughing or feeling sad for her, but her reaction never fails to crack me up every single time selfpwn girl.
On the 6th, I had dinner with my family at some dimsum restaurant in Changi. I paid for half the bill because I felt guilty for staying out late and not being around recently due to competitions and trainings. Met up with Kenny, Deon and Darren, watched them play abit of Fifa before we left, skateboard in hand to meet Tzuming for some prebirthday exercising. I thought it’s funny to spend the last couple of hours being 18 in East Coast on wheels in the middle of the night but it was great.
They even sang me a birthday song in all three languages while we were cycling/skating :) We cycled from one end till the Wasted Station, stopped by Carl’s Junior a couple of times to abuse the refillable drink cup before we decided to head to the only place we had in mind the whole time. THE. SKATE. PARK. Funny how the boys managed to tahan riding a bicycle with a skateboard in hand, but whose idea was it anyway?! I was laughing nonstop the entire time, I think the bruises and scrapes were worth it :B
On the 7th, we headed to Ikea for my birthday celebration. They lied and say that all of them are going to be late and I really believed it, but their plan failed anyway because I saw them loitering around with the cake in hand. Nevertheless, I’ll like the thank the following people for making such a wonderful day happen: Sihui, Coke, Huiqin, Muchen, Mathirah, Ainey, Cheryl, Grace, Hafir, Kenny, Weiyang, Clemence, Yat, Masri, Kwek, Afro and Fadzly. Love you all to bits! <3
Anyway, to cut the long story short, we did some dares and played sardines in Ikea. It was crazy because so many people were watching and it was so hard to hide such a large group of people. We received quite a number of disapproving stares but still, it was fun. Had dinner at Wendy’s before lepaking as usual. I’ll let the pictures do the talking! (We spammed the camera until it ran out of battery before the games even began :B HEHEHEHEHE)
Goodnight <3
